Acupuncture is a form of needling therapy that has evolved over the past 2,500 years along with Chinese Medicine to become a completely holistic and natural medical system. It is an effective form of health care that is being sought after my more and more Americans each year.



  1.    Is acupuncture safe? Acupuncture is extremely safe, virtually painless and an effective way to treat many of today’s health disorders.



  1.    How does acupuncture work? Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into the skin to activate the bodies natural healing abilities to restore balance and well-being in you. Needles are inserted into specific locations or regions of the body known as “acupoints.” A practitioner will have the needles retained in a patient anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes generally.



  1.    What type of schooling do acupuncturists get? Traditional Chinese medical practitioners receive 4 years of extensive and comprehensive graduate-level training at nationally certified schools. Our practitioners have met and passed all California state and National Board examinations and guidelines.
